Anyone who knows me is aware of my addiction to coffee.
I will admit that I was anxious before coming on this trip about the availability of coffee and what it would cost to maintain my addiction. At first, I thought my fears were within reason — most coffee shops sold espresso and rarely drip coffee, making my habit expensive and less enjoyable. When I did find drip coffee, it was so strong that even ridiculous amounts of sugar didn’t help.
Then, I discovered Nescafe 3-in-1 INSTANT COFFEE!
Before you judge it based on the connotation of “instant coffee,” don’t. I, too, was skeptical. But, these individual servings of coffee in small plastic packets have been lifesavers, since water heaters are readily available to me both at my residence and at school.
